Softball Recap: Tri-Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Tri-Valley entered their tilt with Morgan on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 15-11. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-7 on Monday.

Ally Peterson and Larsyn Holdsworth did most of the damage at the plate: Peterson went 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBI, while Holdsworth went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits Holdsworth has posted over her last ten games. Gerran Matthews was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Tri-Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in five consecutive matchups.

Tri-Valley's record is now 13-11. As for Morgan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
