Baseball Game Preview: St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints vs. Pelahatchie Chiefs

The St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints will head out to take on the Pelahatchie Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Andrew's Episcopal will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

St. Andrew's Episcopal barely beat Puckett the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. St. Andrew's Episcopal was the clear victor by a 14-8 margin over Puckett on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Pelahatchie started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Mendenhall. They came up short against the Tigers on Friday, falling 11-1.

St. Andrew's Episcopal's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Pelahatchie, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Pelahatchie's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: St. Andrew's Episcopal has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. It's a different story for Pelahatchie, though, as they've only averaged .339. Will they be able to contain St. Andrew's Episcopal's hitters?
