Volleyball Recap: East Henderson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

East Henderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Brevard Blue Devils. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in August of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-21.

Brevard was led to victory by Addison Worley and Maddie Galloway. Worley had 14 digs and three assists, while Galloway had eight digs and three aces. Those eight digs gave Galloway a new career-high. Becca Stroup also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

East Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brevard, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East Henderson will square off against rival Pisgah at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brevard is set to challenge their familiar foe Tuscola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
