LeRoy proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 27) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Heyworth Hornets 14-12. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win was the fourth in a row for LeRoy, bringing their record up to 4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.8 points on average over those games. As for Heyworth, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.
