Basketball Recap: New Lima Comes Up Short

New Lima was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 70-50 to the Olive Wildcats. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 61-40.

New Lima's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Olive, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Lima will face off against Bowlegs at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Olive, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oilton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Olive is facing Oilton at the right time seeing as Oilton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
