Football Recap: Baldwin Takes a Loss

Baldwin fell victim to Elizabeth Forward and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Warriors, falling 57-0. The Highlanders were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Elizabeth Forward got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Messina out in front who threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns.

Baldwin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Elizabeth Forward, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Baldwin and Elizabeth Forward will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Highlanders will take on rival South Fayette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Forward is set to challenge their familiar foe Greensburg Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
