Softball Recap: Minooka Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Minooka won the last time they faced Sandburg and things went their way on Friday too. Minooka blew past Sandburg 12-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Dani Chorak looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.

At the plate, Addisonn Crumly was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Karina Exstrom, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Minooka's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minooka will welcome Normal Community at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sandburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Downers Grove South at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
