Basketball Recap: Mildred Comes Up Short

Mildred and Marlin squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Mildred had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Bulldogs 63-36. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Mildred's loss dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Marlin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Mildred nor Marlin have any future games scheduled.
