Baseball Recap: Westlake Takes a Loss

Westlake lost against Crespi back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Westlake Warriors lost 9-1 to the Crespi Celts.

Westlake got a good showing from Connor Jacobson, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Noah Stead made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Crespi, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Westlake will take on Ventura in a tournament on February 26th. As for Crespi, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Castaic at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
