Baseball Game Preview: Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes vs. Stranahan Mighty Dragons

The Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes will face off against the Stranahan Mighty Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses apiece.

Pompano Beach came up short against Calvary Christian Academy on Thursday, falling 13-3.

Jason Feinstein was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

Meanwhile, Stranahan lost 13-2 to Boyd Anderson on Thursday.

Stranahan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Randolph Boz, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Pompano Beach's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Stranahan, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Everything went Pompano Beach's way against Stranahan in their previous meeting back in March, as Pompano Beach made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Tornadoes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
