Jena came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Monterey Wolves as they made off with a 28-11 win. The Giants have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.

The team relied heavily on Isaiah Todd, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Jonas Jenkins was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3.

Jena always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .612. They are 8-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 10-6. As for Monterey, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.
