Baseball Game Preview: Rancocas Valley Red Devils vs. Eastern Vikings

For the first time this season, Rancocas Valley will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will host the Eastern Vikings at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rancocas Valley gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Paul VI, sneaking past 5-4.

Eddie Ruminski looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carter Kleszics, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Jake Bartletta was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Eastern put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Seneca get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Vikings have posted against the Golden Eagles since April 7, 2015.

Rancocas Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Eastern in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 10-9. Does Rancocas Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eastern turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
