Basketball Recap: Kinsley Molden Key Part of Team Effort in Warriors Win

Southwestern won the last time they faced Green County and things went their way on Monday too. The Southwestern Warriors managed a 63-59 victory over the Green County Dragons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southwestern to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kinsley Molden, who posted 19 points and seven boards. Molden is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played. Mollie Osborne was another key player, going 5-for-7 on her way to 14 points.

Southwestern's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Green County, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwestern will face off against Mercer County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Green County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cumberland County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
