Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Bulldogs vs. Harmony Eagles

The Jefferson Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Harmony Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Jefferson sitting on eight straight victories and Harmony on six.

Jefferson is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Chapel Hill: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Jefferson blew Chapel Hill out of the water with a 60-29 final score. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Harmony against Daingerfield on Tuesday as the team secured a 47-7 win.

Jefferson has also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.7 points. As for Harmony, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-10.

Jefferson took their win against Harmony when the teams last played back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 58-34. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does Harmony have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
