Baseball Game Preview: Highland Prep Honey Badgers vs. River Valley Dust Devils

The Highland Prep Honey Badgers will head out to challenge the River Valley Dust Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland Prep is looking for their season's first win.

Highland Prep fell victim to Kingman and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 28-0 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, River Valley was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell just short of Odyssey Institute by a score of 3-2.

River Valley got a good showing from Thomas Ramby, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Ramby has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jeremiah Putt was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Highland Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for River Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4-2.
