In what's become a running theme this season, Webb gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 17-1 margin over Oakdale.
Harper Ladd made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Ladd was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Webb got a massive performance out of Libby Dunaway, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Sophie Silvan, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Christian Academy of Knoxville waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Rams a 3-0 shutout.
Not much got past Emily Bogoski, who gave up just four hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Grace Christian Academy off the board.
On the hitting side, Grier Duggar was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Kringen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Webb is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
