Bayport-Blue Point put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Babylon Panthers by a score of 9-5. Those nine runs were actually the fewest the Phantoms have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Bayport-Blue Point's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Babylon, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bayport-Blue Point will welcome John Glenn at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Babylon, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Center Moriches at 4:29 p.m. on the 29th.
