Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wylie). They blew past the South Garland Titans, posting an 88-33 victory. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Titans are ranked 996th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wylie pushed their record up to 16-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for South Garland, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which is still a better percentage than their 5-20 record this season.

Wylie will be playing in front of their home fans against Naaman Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Naaman Forest will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wylie surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Garland, they will head out to square off against Lakeview Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Garland is facing Lakeview Centennial at the right time seeing as Lakeview Centennial is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
