Basketball Recap: Steele Takes a Loss

Steele has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (61), the Comets still had to take the loss.

Steele's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Olmsted Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Steele will face off against Elyria at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Steele's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matches. As for Olmsted Falls, they will take on Avon Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Olmsted Falls is facing Avon Lake at the right time seeing as Avon Lake is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
