Basketball Recap: Miles Takes a Loss

After flying high against Winters last Tuesday, Miles came back down to earth. The Miles Bulldogs came up short against the Roscoe Plowboys on Friday, falling 46-23. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since November 12, 2024.

Miles' loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Roscoe, they pushed their record up to 22-9 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Miles and Roscoe should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Miles (ranked 443rd) will meet Colorado (ranked 1045th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roscoe will take on Winters at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday up 772 places (339 vs. 1111).
