Baseball Recap: Tawas Area Takes a Loss

The Tawas Area Braves lost 8-2 to the Grayling Vikings on Tuesday. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aidan Smith was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. Preston Muckenthler was another key player, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Tawas Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Grayling, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tawas Area will square off against Alcona at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grayling, they will take on Harbor Springs at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
