Volleyball Recap: Cuyahoga Falls Comes Up Short at Home Against Lake Center Christian

Cuyahoga Falls unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Center Christian Tiger on Friday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 21-25, 25-16, 25-14.

Maddy Richards paced Cuyahoga Falls' offense, picking up eight kills. Richards got some help from Sam Dalton and her 16 assists. Finally, Richards was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Cuyahoga Falls has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Cloverleaf on the 16th. As for Lake Center Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Buchtel on the 19th.
