Soccer Recap: Methacton Takes a Loss

Methacton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boyertown Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Methacton of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Methacton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Boyertown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Methacton will take on rival Spring-Ford at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Boyertown is set to square off against their familiar foe Owen J. Roberts at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
