While Model put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Somerset Christian. Model put the hurt on Somerset Christian with a sharp 16-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kendall Maggard made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
