Soccer Game Preview: Hallandale vs. Plantation

The Hallandale Chargers will venture away from home to take on the Plantation Colonels at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hallandale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hallandale is headed into Tuesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 12. Neither they nor Deerfield Beach could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Plantation has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Miramar. The win was some much needed relief for the Colonels as it spelled an end to their 14-game losing streak.

Plantation's draw gives them a new season record of 0-14-1. As for Hallandale, they moved theirs to 1-6-3.

Hallandale came up short against Plantation when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 3-1. Can Hallandale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
