Churchland has gone 9-1 against Norview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Truckers will look to defend their home field against the Pilots at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Last Wednesday, Churchland came up short against Nansemond River and fell 5-2. The loss was the Truckers' first of the season.

King's Fork hit Norview with a eight-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pilots lost 10-2 to the Bulldogs.

Norview got a good showing from Charlie Stelmaszek, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Stelmaszek also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Pilots are 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-6 otherwise.

At the plate, Norview saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Otero, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another was Malaki Littlejohn, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Norview's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Churchland, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

Everything went Churchland's way against Norview in their previous meeting back in April, as Churchland made off with an 11-1 win. Will the Truckers repeat their success, or do the Pilots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
