Baseball Game Preview: Bloomington Bruins vs. Eisenhower Eagles

For the second straight game, Bloomington will face off against Eisenhower. The Bruins will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bloomington will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Bloomington is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Eisenhower with a sharp 18-4 win on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bruins with their most commanding win of the season.

Anthony Quezada was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Nathan Martin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Bloomington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Bloomington, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.
