Basketball Recap: Lighthouse Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Victory Christian Academy last Saturday, Lighthouse Baptist Academy came back down to earth. The Lighthouse Baptist Academy Ambassadors took a blow against the Christian Collegiate Academy Bulldogs on Monday, falling 83-52. The Ambassadors haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Tahj Hill was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 11 boards for Christian Collegiate Academy. With that strong performance, Hill is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. Another player making a difference was Gabe Collier, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Lighthouse Baptist Academy's record is now 1-5. As for Christian Collegiate Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Lighthouse Baptist Academy will host Pensacola Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian Collegiate Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bay on December 27th.
