Softball Recap: Carson Senators vs. Lassen Grizzlies

Carson had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Lassen Grizzlies on Saturday as the Carson Senators made off with a 7-1 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Carson also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2018.

Isabella Reyes made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Reyes has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Reyes was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

In other batting news, Sofia Morrison was incredible, going 3-for-3 with two triples and an RBI. Jordan Brubaker was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
