Football Game Preview: Holy Cross vs. Kentucky Country Day

Holy Cross have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Kentucky Country Day on the road at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Holy Cross are the favorites in this one -- although they were the favorites in their last contest, too, so the odds might count for a little less.

Holy Cross came into their this week averaging 31.5 points per game, but Holy Cross fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They fell to Providence 7-14.

After a string of three wins, Kentucky Country Day's good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-35 walloping at Lexington Christian's hands. Kentucky Country Day's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the matchup before.

Holy Cross have to be hurting after a devastating 7-32 loss at the hands of Kentucky Country Day the last time the two teams met. The loss knocked Holy Cross out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Kentucky Country Day with a vengeful fire.
