Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Florida Christian

Florida Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against TERRA Environmental by a score of 2-0. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw TERRA Environmental, too.

While Florida Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23.

Florida Christian can attribute much of their success to Allison Mantecon, who had 12 digs and six assists. That's the most digs Mantecon has posted since September 4th.

Despite the loss, TERRA Environmental had strong showings from LOLA TOMMASINI, who had 13 digs, and AMY VALDES, who had one block.

Florida Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for TERRA Environmental, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Florida Christian has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Palmetto on the 27th. As for TERRA Environmental, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Southwest on the 27th.
