Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Jefferson after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Washington Patriots by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jefferson of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Jefferson now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Washington, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will square off against Bridgeport at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Washington, they will head out to face off against Chambersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
