The Mount Si Wildcats will challenge the North Kitsap Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Mount Si turned things around against Skyline on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted against the Spartans since April 19, 2022.
Owen Krasowski tossed a big game, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Mount Si is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 8-9 otherwise.
