Volleyball Recap: Boys Town Comes Up Short

Boys Town was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cowboys of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-6.

Leading Logan View/Scribner-Snyder to victory were Gracelyn Hilker and Sydney Sagehorn. Hilker had five digs and four aces, while Sagehorn had three aces and two assists. Those two assists gave Sagehorn a new career-high.

Boys Town's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Boys Town has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Heartland Christian on the 30th. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Pender on the 30th.
