Volleyball Recap: St. John's Prep Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Naja Gutic and Olivia Mura

St. John's Prep lost against Archbishop Molloy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Storm lost 3-0 to the Stanners. The Red Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 25-22.

St. John's Prep's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Olivia Mura, who had four digs and four aces, and Naja Gutic, who had four blocks. Gutic has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last four times she's played.

St. John's Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, St. John's Prep will welcome Xaverian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archbishop Molloy, they will head out to square off against St. Francis Prep at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
