Volleyball Recap: South Summit Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when South Summit challenged Union on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-15.

South Summit's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Union, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Summit will welcome Rich at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Union, they will challenge North Summit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
