Football Recap: Betsy Layne Comes Up Short

Betsy Layne lost against Shelby Valley back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats came up short against the Wildcats, falling 46-25. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Betsy Layne's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Shelby Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Betsy Layne will challenge Belfry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Shelby Valley, they will square off against East Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
