Volleyball Game Preview: Andrean Fighting 59ers vs. Hebron Hawks

The Andrean Fighting 59ers will square off against the Hebron Hawks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Andrean is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Wheeler by a score of 3-1.

Andrean relied on the efforts of Dani Poskin, who had 23 digs and eight assists, and Aubrey Ralick, who had 27 digs and 20 assists. Poskin is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 23 games she's played.

Andrean was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive matches.

Hebron not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 25th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Lake Station Edison. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Fighting Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Hebron's win bumped their record up to 7-21. As for Andrean, the victory got them back to even at 15-15.
