Frontier and Twin Lakes are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Falcons will host the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Frontier will be strutting in after a victory while Twin Lakes will be coming in after a defeat.
Frontier will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Faith Christian on Monday. The Falcons were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Eagles.
Summer Kremer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Twin Lakes fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Winamac on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 5-4. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Myley Spriggs spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.
On the hitting side, Morgan Rodziewicz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Twin Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Frontier, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-13.
Twin Lakes' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Frontier has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Twin Lakes, though, as they've been averaging 9.5 hits. Given Frontier's sizable advantage in that area, the Indians will need to find a way to close that gap.
