Volleyball Recap: Troy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Troy came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lexington Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Skylar Workman paced Troy's offense, picking up nine kills. Workman got some help from Peyton Sierra and her ten assists. Sierra also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Shae Collier, racking up two apiece.

Troy's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Lexington, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-5.

Troy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Burnet on the 23rd. As for Lexington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Gatesville on the 23rd.
