Basketball Recap: Grand Oaks Takes a Loss

After flying high against New Caney last Friday, Grand Oaks came back down to earth. The Grand Oaks Grizzlies fell just short of the Conroe Tigers by a score of 45-43 on Tuesday. The contest marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Grand Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Conroe, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-16.

Grand Oaks will welcome Oak Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Conroe, they will challenge Willis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Willis' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
