Owen came out on top against Lincoln Charter on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Warhorses blew past the Eagles 13-1. The result was nothing new for the Warhorses, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Sophie Neal made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. In other batting news, Mia Roland was incredible, firing off three home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-5. Those three home runs gave her a new career-high. Elly Wright was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
