Volleyball Recap: Champlain Valley Union Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Burlington on Saturday, Champlain Valley Union came back down to earth. The Redhawks lost 3-0 to the Burlington Seahorses on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seahorses this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Champlain Valley Union was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-17.

Champlain Valley Union's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Burlington, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

As of now, neither Champlain Valley Union nor the Seahorses have any future games scheduled.
