Baseball Recap: Inspiration Academy Gets the Win

Inspiration Academy won the last time they faced FSBE Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Lions walked away with an 8-5 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Ty Harvey was incredible, firing off two home runs, four RBI, and one stolen base while going 3-for-4. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sean Dromgool, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Inspiration Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Inspiration Academy's record is now 15-9. As for FSBE Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Inspiration Academy will challenge Central Pointe Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions are facing the CPCA at the right time seeing as the CPCA are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for FSBE Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on MVP Baseball Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
