Seth Pitcock gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2024 on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Boone Grove is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Pitcock and Boone Grove will square off against Griffith at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wolves got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Panthers thanks in part to Pitcock: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
