Basketball Recap: Whitesboro Takes a Loss

If Whitesboro was riding high fresh off their 88-24 takedown of Watts last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Whitesboro Bulldogs took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smithville Braves on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Whitesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Smithville, they pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
