Basketball Recap: Nazareth Academy Comes Up Short

Nazareth Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 59-32 loss at the hands of the Christ the King Gladiators. The match marked the Roadrunners' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Nazareth Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Christ the King, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Nazareth Academy will face off against Aurora Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Christ the King, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fenwick at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
