Softball Recap: Chico Dragons vs. Alvord Bulldogs
Chico had lost three straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 11-14 to make it four. They lost 11-4 to the Alvord Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.
Addyson Sides spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and eight unearned) runs on 15 hits and racked up nine Ks.
At the plate, Camdyn Marcus was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
