Basketball Recap: Franklin Flyers vs. Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets
Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 56-35 to the Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets. The Flyers were down 49-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Franklin still got an impressive performance from Eldon Haack, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 boards. Haack is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Heartland Lutheran found their leader in freshman Luke Olson, who shot 4-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double on 23 points and 16 rebounds. Chad Rostvet was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

Franklin will be playing at home against Blue Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Heartland Lutheran has already played their next match, a 49-31 defeat against Newman Grove/St. Edward on the 16th.
