Basketball Game Preview: Chopticon Braves vs. North Point Eagles

Chopticon is 0-10 against North Point since February of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Chopticon Braves will host the North Point Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chopticon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 62-40 margin over Calverton on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Braves have posted since February 9, 2024.

Chopticon can attribute much of their success to Kirnique Swales, who posted 17 points. Cassidy Wolfe was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, North Point came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 51-45 win over the Reds.

North Point's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Chopticon, they have also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.
